Changent Zero is planting seeds by launching a community circle for anyone who wants to be inspired and take action to address environmental challenges but don’t know where to start.
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
Jane Goodall
The Changent Circle provides a forum to bring together those ‘in the know’ to provide information and help identify easy, accessible and manageable ways to start. These circles support participants in a grounding meditation, an inspirational artist presenter, and a speaker presentation. All designed to give practical ways to address this crisis in our own community and backyard.
Together, through education, inspiration and support, we can do better for our planet and our future.
The Changent Circle is the grassroots community foundation that will inform the development of our zero waste app, which will in turn create the foundation for our ultimate interactive virtual and real life game.
Who is it for?
This inclusive community is for anyone interested in environmental and social issues and are seeking people, resources AND inspiration to take those first steps.
Where is it?
Currently, all circles will take place virtually. No matter where you live, you can attend!
Eventually, when we can come together in-person, local circles will take place in interested communities. The founding community circle will be located in the Markham/Stouffville area. However, if you would like to consider hosting a Changent Circle in your community, let us know!
2022 Schedule
The Changent Circle will run bi-montly (every other month) starting with the launch on Friday, April 30th, 2021. Circles will run between 7 – 9 pm ET. Here is the list of dates to mark down in the calendar. For circles that have passed, be sure to check out the Toolkits page to access resources and the presentations.
